Monuments and a heroes organ

Our sightseeing tips for Kufstein: Take a look at the landmarks of the city: The fortress with it's museum and the worlds biggest outdoor organ. The organ has 4.307 pipes and 46 registers and every day at 12 midday you can hear the sound throughout the town.

Meet the Tyrolean freedom-fighter Andreas Hofer … in the form of his bronze statue at the top of Heroes Hill offering a beautiful view over Kufstein.

And this is a must-see: the old town and especially the Römerhofgasse. Strolling between the ancient houses, you will feel like you have gone back in time. The Kufsteiners have also erected a monument to Karl Ganzer - the composer of the Kufstein song.
