Programme for the kids included

From the 27th June to the 9th September 2011 in collaberation with the Achensee Tourism Organisation we offer our 'smaller guests' a varied weekly programme. Under the supervision of loving kindergarten carers, children between 4 and 11 years old will be able to spend their summer holidays in a stress free environment full of fun, adventure and creativity.

The programme takes place from Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 3.15pm and includes lunch and drinks.

Monday - Kuno the wily goblin

Red, tousled hair, huge webbed-like feet and earth-brown arms and legs: it's Kuno the Goblin. Throw anything at him and Kuno the goblin loves it! When Kuno gets going, he'll blow, and splash, and shoot and shape - and all the children gather around him. Pay him a visit too and he'll show you a lot of practical jokes which we're sure you'll never forget!

Tuesday - on horseback

Horse lovers beware! Today is your day. The horses are saddled and ready for the professionals and for those riding for the first time. Of course, a delicious lunch, fun and games, crafts and the playground are all included in the day.

Wednesday - Climbing fun at the Dalzfazer waterfall

Off to the mountains! Pull on your sturdy shoes and bring some courage with you: Climb the steep walls and fly across the gorge on the Flying Fox, balance on the Slackline or on the branches. Today you can try everything out. Our state-certified mountain guide has harnesses, helmet and ropes for you. It's hungry work. Thankfully we've packed some tasty snacks!

Thursday - Wusel Academy

In the Karwendel Alpenpark you'll meet Wusel and our forester Andrew today. Come along to the Wusel Academy if you would like to know what a forester does in a forest. You'll learn how to determine the age of various types of trees, how to easily measure their height and why trees are so good at cleaning our air. Join Wusel for a day in the forest. At the end of the day you'll receive your Wusel-Diploma and you're officially a Junior Forester.

Thursday evening program - torchlight hike

We'll meet at 9pm at the Buchau cark park in Maurach (at the football pitch). We'll be waiting for you with torches and candles and from here will make our way to the lake in search of Kuno the Goblin. Wer entdeckt ihn und seinen Who will find him and his magical fire first? The hike lasts until around 10pm.

Friday - day of the pirates

Hey landlubber! Pack your swimming trunks! Today belongs to pirates big and small. We've boarded our raft, raised the pirate's flag and set sail. But where have we left the treasure? Without it there'll be no pirate feast around the campfire. Will you join us? Life jackets are provided!
